The beach of Chrysis Aktis is located in the Municipal Unit of Nea Kydonia, just a few meters east of the beach of Agioi Apostoli and 2.5 km west of Chania. It is awarded the Blue Flag and owes its name to its truly golden sand.

It essentially consists of two sandy beaches, which are separated by a small rocky outcrop. It is very well organized, with umbrellas, lifeguard, showers, cafes, water sports, etc.

Access: The transition to the area is made with the very frequent routes of the urban KTEL.
